That is untrue. Infowars almost immediately was saying that Sandy Hook was a hoax based on postings that Rob Dew saw on 4chan.

He covered Sandy Hook a total of about 20 hours on air and then went on to other things. Parents didn’t know who he was.
He had nothing to do with the parents. He posted the video of Strangely smirking parent Parker–and that video and photo was everywhere, and said they could be crisis actors—all things being said by others.

That is untrue. There are emails and texts. The only person with any sense in that whole organization (even though he is a racist alt-right culture warrior) was Paul Joseph Watson. He wrote emails trying to get Jones to stop. Jones didn’t stop. Even after there were emails where Jones himself admitted that Halbig was unstable… he still let him on air.
He did a lot more than that. The trial proved as much. Heck… Infowars even hired a detective to dig up dirt on Sandy Hook parents.
There is no use in minimizing what Jones did. It makes no sense to do so. The facts have been laid out in a court of law and Jones was found to be liable for launching a harassment campaign against the parents of murdered children for profit.

They at the time knew that Halbig was off the rails and that Sandy Hook was real… but they kept on.
